A crypto media map separates publications with editorial desks from regional outlets, automated distribution networks and community channels, because each surface creates a different kind of attention and proof.

Measured and updated: 3 September 2026. The table is a sample of the public directory, not a census or a ranking.

Who made this map

BlockmanPR wrote this map and sells placements in outlets represented by it. That commercial relationship is why we have the directory data and why the method must be visible.

Nothing is ranked. No quality superlative is applied, and table order is alphabetical within the tier shown on the served directory. Inclusion means that a public detail route was visible at measurement time and the underlying record supplied the attributes shown. It does not mean editorial endorsement. A buyer should verify the fit, section and disclosure for a specific campaign.

Four different places a crypto announcement can land

Publication newsrooms

A publication has its own audience and publishing operation. It may carry independently reported work, paid organic articles, sponsored articles or a press-release section. The domain alone does not tell you which format you bought. Read the label, byline and section.

Regional and language-specific outlets

These outlets serve a market in its own language or with a local editorial frame. The measured directory contains records tagged for China, Japan and South Korea, including Chinese, Japanese and Korean language options. It also carries Southeast Asian markets such as Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam. Those records are useful for campaign planning, but they are not automatically interchangeable with Western coverage.

Wires and aggregators

A wire distributes one prepared text through a network. An aggregator may republish it from a feed. Both can produce useful reach and auditable links. Neither event means an editor independently selected the story.

Community channels

Creator posts, exchange community feeds, video channels and messaging groups can move attention quickly. Their value is audience access and timing. Their weakness is durability: a short post is less likely to remain discoverable or become a reference source than a stable article.

This table deliberately omits reach and turnaround. Reach values do not have sufficient published provenance for this article. None of the served sample records supplied a public turnaround value on the measurement date. “Not available” is not a useful comparison column, so hide-if-missing wins.

How the sample was produced

The row set came from the unique /media-outlets/<slug> links served on the public directory page. Each row was then joined to the public media-directory feed for tier, region, language and format attributes. Records present in the feed but absent from the served directory were not added back by hand. That boundary keeps a retired or routing-only record from becoming a promotional recommendation through this article.

The list changes when the served directory changes. A format changes when the corresponding directory record changes. A row disappears when its public detail route is no longer served. This article should be re-measured before its date changes; a fresh date without a fresh directory read would be false freshness.

How an Asian team should use the map

An exchange or project from China, Taiwan, Korea or Japan often needs two different outcomes: an English-language article that Western investors and partners can find, and regional-language distribution that reaches users at home. Plan them as related workstreams, not one translated blast.

Start with the audience and announcement. A listing, proof-of-reserves update or funding story may need a stable English reference page. Product education may need Japanese or Korean context. A creator campaign may need Chinese-language community distribution. The full directory can filter those markets, but this public sample stays narrow because only rows with served detail routes belong in the table.

Ask the vendor to identify each outlet, language, section and format before booking. Then ask which placements are sponsored, paid organic or earned. “Asia coverage” without a named market and language is not a plan. “Western coverage” without a publication format is not one either.

What this map does not claim

  • It is not the whole crypto media market.
  • It does not rank editorial quality, influence or commercial value.
  • It does not claim that a listed outlet will accept every format for every story.
  • It does not turn paid availability into editorial endorsement.
  • It does not publish an unsourced audience or turnaround number.

The map answers where a campaign might route. Editorial fit still depends on the news, audience, market and outlet rules.

FAQ

Where should I publish a crypto press release? Choose outlets by audience, market, language and accepted format. A global English publication, a regional-language outlet and a wire solve different distribution jobs.

What does Tier-1 mean in this map? Tier-1 is the directory’s label for major publications with their own audience and publishing operation. It is not a traffic score, a promise of earned coverage or a ranking within the tier.

Does an Asian exchange need English-language coverage? Usually it needs a deliberate choice. English coverage can provide a Western reference surface, while Chinese, Japanese or Korean distribution may address regional users. One does not replace the other.

Does a listed outlet guarantee editorial coverage? No. A booked sponsored or press-release placement may be guaranteed after acceptance. Independent earned coverage remains the outlet’s decision.
